Our Process

Your home remodeling project has already started ~ you have a dream, you have ideas and thoughts of what you want done in your home.  Now you are looking for a remodeling contractor.  We sincerely hope Bearhill Contracting is one of the contractors with whom you choose to share your vision.  From here we will proceed as follows:

Meet ~ In our initial meeting, we will listen to your dream and desires for your home, exploring your ideas step by step and room by room.  We will ask many questions, take measurements, take pictures and gather information about your project.

Present ~ During our second meeting, we will present our plan for your project, options for materials and project approaches as well as timelines and pricing.  We will go over our understanding of your dream to assure we have captured your vision correctly.

Shop ~ Next we shop for materials and products for your project.  The customer is welcome to participate as much or as little as they like.  Bearhill Contracting believes in total transparency regarding mark-up on materials.  This is your home and your project; we want you to be in control of your choices to whatever extent you desire.

Remodel ~ Each day of work begins by protecting your flooring with tarps and keeping disruptions to a minimum in your household.  We clean up every day because we know that remodeling is stressful.  We strive to minimize the impact on your family.  Each day we check in and provide a status report.  This provides an opportunity to make any alterations during the project should the need or desire arise.

Affirm ~ At the completion of your project we will take time together to have a final meeting to verify we have met or exceeded your expectations.

During our initial phone conversation we will note general ideas about your project and your contact information. At your request, we will set a time for a home consultation.
